Adidas: Adidas Superstar Sound Bar

The Superstar Soundbar series was part of the Adidas’ global campaign for the re-release of the Superstar sneaker. The culture of the Superstar links closely to music with artists such as Missy Elliot, Pharrell, Jay Z and Run DMC heavily associated with the shoe over the decades. Due to this connection with music Adidas wanted to create a series of listening bars connecting the communities from each city with the culture of the Superstar shoe. The result was a series of listening bars, called the Superstar Sound Bars, designed inspired by the Superstar shoe with details from the sneaker teased throughout the space. These bars/cafe’s were 3 day pop ups with each city having its own curated line up of DJ’s and artists. The series travelled across 4 cities over Europe – Munich, Cologne, Vienna, Zurich.
