Skepta x Puma: 8ft Skope Sculpter

For the Skepta x Puma SS24 Launch event held in Shoreditch, London May 2024, we worked with Iconic Objects to create an 8ft sculpture of the Skope, Skepta’s first collaborative sneaker with Puma. Mini versions of the sculpter was also made as gifting items throughout the roll out.

The 8ft sculpture was designed and manufactured in the Netherlands and shipped to London for the launch party. Below you can see the processes for how the sculpture was made:

  • 1 – A 3D scan of the Skope sneaker was taken and combined with the 3D engineering files of the shoe to create the base for the design
  • 2 – File converted in to a 3D printing file
  • 3 – The sculpture was 3D FDM printed in parts before being assembled together
  • 4 – Once assembled together the sculpture was then sanded, brushed and primed for spraying
  • 5 – The sculpture was then sprayed with an iridescent ink and black ink and assembled to the base
  • 6 – Chrome plates were created for the tongue logo, heel branding and arch shank and assembled to the body of the sculpture
